OPU Director Martin Rozumek made a speech on 6 February 2020 at the seminar in the EU Parliament on the topic of unaccompanied minor refugees. The seminar was organised by MEPs Michaela Sojdrova (EPP) and Caterina Chinnici (S+D Group). Mr. Rozumek criticized the terrible conditions for children in Greece, pointed out to free spaces and hundreds of families willing to receive and help the children in the Czech Republic and advocated for legal avenues for refugees to Europe for example through family reunification procedures. The seminar was attended by app. 70 participants including the representatives of the European Commission and journalists from the Czech Republic and other countries.
