As a part of the project „ Kids o the Road“ was written guide for unnaccompanied minors with the title „My Life in the Czech Republic“.
This publication is intended for all children and young people, who come to the Czech Republic without the company of their parents or other relatives. This publication should make their orientation in common situations, which they will encounter living in the Czech Republic, easier. In the publication, minors will find detailed information about asylum procedure, about residence in the detention centres, about facilities for institutional care, and we also explain how Czech education system works. This publication will also focus on the situations, which minors will face if they leave the facility for institutional care. This guide will give them advice about where and how to find a place to stay, how and where to find a suitable job, or how to arrange a health insurance. List of useful contacts is also part of this publication.
This guide is available in Czech, English, French, Russian, Arabic and Persian language.
