The Organization for Aid to Refugees in cooperation with its partner, Pedagogical and Psychological Counsel for Prague 1, 2 and 4, has launched in August 2009 a project called “We are people of one World”.

The project called "TransBorders Czech Republic – Austria" is an interactive project from the field of human rights protection which will be carried out the Czech Republic and Austria. The project focuses on young people from 15 to 18 years and its main components are three elements: exhibitions, films and debates.

Right-wing extremism is nowadays one of the most immediate threats to democracy everywhere in Europe, and it is the centre of attention of governments, media and society. Right-wing extremism being linked to the issues of foreign nationals and refugees, the Organization for Aid to Refugees has decided to respond to these threats and has been involved in their prevention for two years running.

This project loosely follows the successful project “Smile” and it is intended for the 7th and 8th (or 8th and 9th) years of primary school. The plan presented here represents an expanded version, which is derived from the positive reactions of primary school teachers. The aim of this project is to design and implement a prevention programme focusing on the prevention of racism and xenophobia.
