Educational activities
At the current moment we would like to organize few educational multicultural projects for high schools in Prague and around the entire Czech Republic. At the same time we offer interesting services for the public.
Student practice – after the agreement it is possible to cooperate with one of our workers to have student practice or educational stay (even for the foreign students) and it is possible to arrange consultation of the output of the school practice
Publication activity – in the scope of the project we are trying to publicize information about asylum and refugee
Presentation activity - after the agreement we are implementing presentation cycles about different topics that are related to the refugees, presentations are possible to be around the entire Czech Republic (in scope of festivals, workshops, cultural and school events).
Proposition of the \Presentations
Migration, human rights
- two hour presentation for high schools
- during this presentation children, with the help of the interactive methods of work, will be introduced to the terms such as forced and voluntary migration, human rights
- Recommended number of the participants: 25
- For the presentation the chairs must be in the circle, with the board and internet connection
- The costs will be specified after the agreement
Workshop about the country of the origin
- Three hour presentation for high school students
- During this presentation, which will be lead by the instructor from OPU and instructor that is foreigner, children will be introduced to the life of a person in a certain country, and with the personal life of the foreign instructor. With the help of the experience technique will be introduced with phenomena that are related with integration foreigner in new country.
- Recommended number of the participants: 25
- For the presentation the chairs must be in the circle, with the board and internet connection
- At the moment we can offer workshop Vietnam, Belorussia, Angola, Afghanistan, Iraq, Kongo
- Cost will be specified after the agreement
Then we offer presentations about Extremism in Czech Republic and Integration, foreigner and media for high school students and for college students.

OPU offers accredited education programmes
In 2011, OPU was accredited educational institution by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and Ministry of Education, which entitled it to offer accredited education programmes for teachers and social workers.
