Are you a foreigner looking after a small child? Would you like to improve your qualification? Do you want to have chance for a better job? Is there nobody to look after your children while you are on requalification? Do you want to improve your Czech language? Do you need social or legal counselling?
Organisation for Aid to Refugees is realizing a project, which could be suitable for you.
What can we offer? - Requalification courses (you can get better qualification and learn new things, which will help you to get a job – and all for free) - Czech language courses (improve your language skills and get better chance to find a job – and again for free) - Babysitting (while you will be on the course, your children will be looked after by profesional babysitters) - Skills audits (we will identify your strong and weak spots, possibilities and dispositions and suggest the next steps of your development) - Counselling (we can offer social and legal counselling for free and help you with your problems conected to your residence in the Czech Republic)

Southern Moravian Foreign Nationals Integration Centre
OPU Brno is informing, that as a partner of the Regional Authority of the South Moravian Region in a project “Southern Moravian Foreign Nationals Integration Centre" supported by the European Fund for the Integration of third countries nationals (EIF 2009)
provides following activities for third countries nationals with legal resident statute in the Czech Republic:
• PC courses for beginners – be registered now!!!!! • Social and legal counseling; • Social - cultural orientation courses aimed to support their employment (e.g. CV writing, entrance interview training, obligations and tasks sequent upon employment relationship, job offers searching, assistance in diploma validation) • Lectures for primary, secondary and high schools´students focused on migration issues.
All activities take place in OPU Brno office and in Foreign Nationals Integration Centre in Brno.
Analýza zaměřená na nezletilé cizince bez doprovodu
V rámci projektu „Na startu“, podpořeného grantem z Islandu, Lichtenštejnska a Norska v rámci Finančního mechanismu EHP a Norského finančního mechanismu prostřednictvím Nadace rozvoje občanské společnosti, vznikla analýza popisující postavení a systém ochrany nezletilých cizinců, kteří se nacházejí na území České republiky bez doprovodu rodičů či jiných zákonných zástupců. Analýza se zaměřuje na popis stávající situace a na identifikaci hlavních problémů a nedostatků v systému péče o nezletilé žadatele o azyl a cizince bez doprovodu zákonného zástupce s důrazem na jejich přípravu na odchod ze zařízení ústavní výchovy a na život mimo něj. Informační manuál pro úředníky státní správy a samosprávy ve městě Plzni
V rámci projektu "Rozšíření služeb individuální asistence cizincům v Plzni" financovaného prostřednictvím účelové dotace města Plzně vznikl informační manuál, který má za úkol úředníkům státní správy a samosprávy města Plzně a dále široké odborné i laické veřejnosti a cizincům samotným přiblížit problematiku života cizinců v České republice ve vztahu k zákonům o státní sociální podpoře, o pomoci v hmotné nouzi, o zaměstnanosti, o živnostenském podnikání, o veřejném zdravotním pojištění, o sociálních službách a dalších.
